      Same. Let men do men's work....women are not built for that sort of thing.
      Plus remember this world of politics was created by men for men to run. It's masculine and very tuff.
      Men are the protectors.
      Women are the nurturers.
      We all have our roles and it works well.

      Competent. Trump picked these ss agents not cause they were the best but because they were
      Loyal to trump. Trump's incompetence has led

    I was midway through Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood MO aka Ft. Lost in the woods Misery... in April of 1992 when political correctness infiltrated the Army base... All of a sudden we were told we couldn't sing certain cadences... we couldn't curse or use any sexual or racy language...
    Thankfully my DI was old school & took us to the far side of the base in the middle of nowhere and let us sing whatever cadence we wanted at least a few times...
    I too miss the old days... growing up in the 70's & 80's... Generation X, where words were just that words... "sticks & stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me..."
    Nowadays words are considered violence, silence is considered violence... seems that the only thing that isn't violence is violence perpetrated by the Leftist snowflakes... they need to either man up or melt...

Now… I agree SOME BRAVE women do have roles in the military… medical, supply, administration. I’ve worked with them. I did end up working for the National Guard as a Nurse in a full time job. But not in combat. Period no way We don’t belong there. And real women know that.

    I am female and 67 years old. I grew up during the height of the feminist movement. When I graduated college, I went to work in the Defense industry (Lockheed Missile and Space) and there wasn’t another woman in the department I worked in for a decade. I was hired right out of college, partly because I was female, but also because of my Math background. Regardless, I worked hard, paid my dues working extra hours, taking assignments no one else wanted, doing the best job I could. I earned my stripes, on jobs building weapon systems, programming, testing. In those jobs, women were as capable of doing the job as men. That said there are some jobs that simply aren’t suited for women. Women are just made different both physically and even mentally. Women don’t generally think the same way as men, and they certainly aren’t built the same. Yes, there are outliers on both sides, some men that are more feminine and some women who are more masculine. At the end of the day though, we need to be hiring the most qualified person for the job. That becomes more important when someone’s life is at stake. As a woman who grew up during the feminist movement, I never wanted to get a job because I was a woman. I wanted the job because I was the best for that job. I certainly don’t want to see standards lowered simply to get more women (or whatever group) into a job. It is demoralizing for the person being hired, and it is just unfair. We need to go back to a meritocracy regardless of the job, hire the best person for the job. That is what made the US so good, and DEI is pulling us down to the point of the lowest common denominator.
    As for being prepared, that is for everybody, not just guys. Don’t be a victim. Even as a female you need to know exits, cover, etc. otherwise you are making it harder for everyone. Know what a gunshot sounds like. How many at the event thought it was firecrackers? Be aware of your surroundings. How many people park in the dark corner of a parking lot and then wonder why they got mugged? There are allot of things women can do too. Being trained to use a handgun is a great equalizer. Of course, you couldn’t take a gun into that rally supposedly. Still being able to defend yourself regardless of your sex is important.

    FROM A WOMAN HERE. those women had NO business being in that “Cover the Principle” position. They are not qualified in many ways. I’m SICK of this bs that woman can do EVERYTHING a man can do. And
    there’s things that women can do that man can’t do let’s use our common sense. Covering g an 6’1 male in a violent attack situation. And we should be critiquing this greatly. This was a failure, on so many levels and a national embarrassment to our nation. And with all the people and billionaires, Cartels that hate Trump from those making billions from the border that he’s gonna shut down from those that made trillions in big Pharma and mass injections of the populations from those that don’t want the money train to stop in the Senate in Congress and on and on. Plenty of reasons to see that this was a hit on President Trump and that guy was not a lone shooter. 🙄

      It is more about size, build, ability, and attitude rather than gender. A male lacking these characteristics would be just as bad. Training, skill, and experience were sadly lacking. The male agent on the roof who ducked and ran was equally lacking these abilities. He should have dropped and taken aim. It is only by fortune of turning his head that Trump was not assassinated. I find it hard to believe the agencies involved were taking this mission seriously.

    • @dixie6294
      @dixie6294 29 дней назад +1

      @42meralee How about the fact that 90% of the humans on this detail were male? That means that most of the errors were caused by men. The sniper that left his post who had a clear shot to look for the shooter,instead of calling someone else in would be a fail. From what I could tell all the officers of different agencies on the ground were male...so how is any of this the two women protecting Trumps at fault? And if for some reason those women were deemed incompetent while on duty,don't the other men have a duty to resolve that through proper channels? Brains over brawn usually wins,and if the concern is that Trump is so tall,he should of been dragged out by his feet,instead of allowing him to jump up at any point with his fist,and wait for his shoes...that just tells me that the Trump thinks he knows best and does what he wants,making it more difficult for the agents to follow protocol. Never should of held rallies outside but he wanted to go on the cheap.

    As a female, I was initially shocked by the amount of women that I saw in the first photo of the scene (the ✊🏼 🇺🇲) and I have been even more appalled the more that I've learned. I just got to the point hearing him say support and not combat roles. I think it's long time for women to start to remember that we are assets in the ways where a man is not, and visa versa. It's absolutely okay to accept that we don't have to be have the same job as a man to be valuable and equal in significant contribution. I absolutely know, with no doubt whatsoever, that I could NOT hop on an oil rig, go through that job for the entire shift AND be the best person for the job even with training... Let alone be reasonably qualified to be a candidate for the position, without becoming a liability to my coworkers. That being said, in the fictional oil rig company there's a high probability that I would be well suited for a role supporting the guys busting their ass, and frankly not take away a position for a qualified person because they have a quota for DEI to meet. Off the soap box. Great show guys!

    Finally, a White male who just says it without the caveat of, please don't think I'm sexist for saying that this, I think women are totally capable of being secret service. And I guess the consideration of women and our feelings should be a good thing, and as a woman I appreciate it. But I just want a man to say how he feels about women in these positions without dancing around our feelings. Women respect men a lot more when you guys aren't doormats who are terrified of upsetting us and being rejected by us for your "sexist" views. I promise you, we prefer men who just say it and most women worthy of being your gal and raising your kids are more "sexist" about female secret service and police and soldiers than men are. We want strong men who will fight for us and protect the family, we don't want meek, weak boys afraid to hurt our feelings for having an opinion. If you can't stand up to us you can't stand up *FOR* us.

    It isn't discrimination if you make physical size and strength the standard regardless of gender. A 6'6" woman in good shape can do 99.9% of what a man can do.

    • @damianholmes3049
      @damianholmes3049 Месяц назад +6

      No ma’am.
      1. She cannot do what a 6’6” man can do. In this context, you know we’re talking about males well above average fitness levels right? She can’t do what an in shape 6’2” male can do.
      2. It’s not just a matter of height and physical strength. Instinct, reaction time, temperament, spacial and situational awareness, adrenaline, and testosterone levels all put men at a clear advantage for this type of work.
      3. It is discrimination, and that’s a good thing. Making honest, common sense distinctions between ‘good’ and ‘best’ can be the difference between life and death.

      @@damianholmes3049You said it better than I was about to! Height and weight being equal, doesn’t make you equal, men are stronger and created for physical conflict, protectors of women. That’s fact not discrimination.

    • @kajag1063
      @kajag1063 Месяц назад

      Exactly. I believe that there shouldn't be gender specific standards for these things, just necessary standards. Height, size, physical fitness requirements, and if a woman can meet those standards, good.

    • @kajag1063
      @kajag1063 Месяц назад

      @@damianholmes3049As for your second point, most of those things are not innate to either gender. Natural human instinct is trained out of people who work these jobs. Men might have testosterone, but sometimes the "shoot first as questions later" approach that men are more likely to take is less effective. Sometimes deescalation is the best way to handle a situation with the least damage, and women tend to be better at that. But also, these traits are present in both men and women. The best way of finding qualified people is by setting a standard of relevant requirements, and hiring based on that, with no regard to gender.

      You are right. Seems obvious. And another thing that seems obvious is why weren't the local police, fbi, and Secret Service on the same radio frequencies. As a former Marine Corps radio operator in combat I know the value of having all assets on the same frequency. Otherwise when the shtf moment happens, there will be no communication between the major assets . This was a perfect storm of d e i hiring, understaffed Secret Service protection detail and as I said, no comms. Proper planning prevents piss poor performance. SS director⁉️Kimberly Cheatle, if you can't take the heat, get back in the kitchen. And have your female agents add male ones spend more time on the Range, so you know how to holster your weapon first time every time.

  • @kajag1063
    @kajag1063 Месяц назад +1

    There is definitely a place for women in the secret service, in terms of organisation, planning, etc. But fighting positions aren't it, mostly because men (most of them) are biologically programmed to be protective of women, which causes issues. There are women who are absolutely capable of doing the job, but the dynamics prevent them from being able to integrate with the men. Hiring for these jobs isn't just about the individuals, but how they function as a group.

    Aside from the fact that members of the secret service protecting Trump should have been 6’4 at minimum-which most women are not- the biggest failures were securing the event and by the counter snipers. That still doesn’t add up to me. The issue with the female secret service is after the fact. Shots were already fired. An innocent civilian was already shot and killed. Trump was already hit. More focus should be on the failures that allowed this shooter to gain access to a rooftop with a clear line of sight 150 yards from the stage. I ABSOLUTELY disagree that women can’t be in combat roles. Nor should our women in the military be judged based on the incompetence of these secret service agents.

    Ive a question..the comments from police vs fbi vs secret service are all pointing fingers at one another..makes it confusing.. their excuse is they were NOT ON THE SAME WALKIE TALKIE. THEY didnt even have the same kind of radios. Ear plugs ya but all the cops WATCHING And still not taking a shot. When citizens were ready and was gonna rush the shooter. And 1 cop ran to get a latter..but slipped and fell off the ladder?
    Is that even possible? And are you able to be at the congressional hearing of kim To fire her? And who would fire her..mayorkas? Or can you?
    Pl7s what about elon musk satellites that can see a mole on a cheek from the sky..
    Plus didnt citizens gave drones..when everyone has drone but no one ss, pd; fbi!!!
    I don4 get it.
    Now..citizens need shrink care from trauma.

    He climbed up by using an AC unit to get up on top. What I want to know they had that guy inside for at least one minute before he took a shot and that one minute they shouldn't got it in Trump off the stage or not allow him to come on. Trap himself said if they are told him there was a person of interest he would have waited 10-15 minutes before going on stage till they resolve the issue. And those two big trains holding up the flag it would have been very simple to put cameras up on top of them to scan the areas.
    In fact it would probably be a good idea to have cameras you clamp on it So the operator can watch where the load is going.

    All the talk about the ground crew and what went wrong. But the real question is who was the present person who had the responsibility for the entire situation and managed the people in the field? Who was the one who gave an agreement after the preliminary investigation about who would take which measures and when? All the talk about the shortcomings of the security guards in the field distracts from what was really the cause. These two participate to muddy the water.
